Town Board Zoning Law § 215-30.3.B covers personal seasonal vehicles, boats, trailers and recreational vehicles on single-, two- and multi-family lots. Five conditions must all be met: the vehicle must be currently registered and licensed, it cannot be used for living purposes, it cannot sit in the front yard the way an ordinary car may under Subsection A, it must be parked on an approved surface rather than bare ground, and it cannot block sightlines needed by drivers, pedestrians or cyclists using the street or driveway.

A separate rule in Subsection C caps how heavy any vehicle parked outdoors on a residential lot can be: nothing with a gross load weight over five tons may occupy any part of a residential property at any time unless it is kept entirely inside an enclosed structure, such as a garage, whenever it is on the premises. That combination means a large travel trailer or boat trailer that individually complies with Subsection B can still run afoul of Subsection C if its loaded weight tops five tons and it is left sitting in a side or rear yard rather than garaged. The Code Enforcement Officer within the Building Department enforces both provisions as part of Chapter 215.
