In unincorporated Osceola County, parking any vehicle in front of the dwelling or in the front yard is prohibited unless it's on the authorized, approved paved parking area. Boats, RVs and trailers can't be stored on vacant lots or in the right-of-way.
Osceola County's parking ordinance (Chapter 22, Article II) prohibits parking any vehicle in front of a dwelling or in the front yard except on an approved paved parking area, and bans parking on unpaved areas, vacant lots, the county right-of-way, or along the side yard in front of the approved fence. Recreational vehicles are defined in § 22-26 as travel trailers, camping trailers, truck campers and motor homes. Parking is allowed on the approved paved area, inside an enclosed accessory structure, or on-street only with an HOA-issued permit displayed in the windshield. Cities (Kissimmee, St. Cloud) and HOAs set their own rules.
Enforced by code enforcement under Chapter 7; a civil citation carries a $250 fine unless the ordinance sets a different penalty, and continuing nuisance violations can reach $250-$500 per day.
