Clark County limits automobile street parking to 24 hours under Β§14.40.043. RVs prohibited on county roads entirely without permit. Rolling a vehicle a short distance does not reset the time limit. Report at 702-455-4191.
Clark County Code Β§14.40.043 makes it unlawful to park any automobile on a county road for longer than 24 hours. Recreational vehicles are prohibited from parking on county roads for any amount of time unless a permit has been issued or the RV is being actively loaded/unloaded (maximum 24 hours). A 2017 revision clarifies that derelict vehicles cannot circumvent the time limit by rolling a short distance. Boats, commercial vehicles, trailers, and mobile billboards are also prohibited on residential streets. Enforcement is by LVMPD, Constable's Office, and Clark County Public Response Office. Report violations at 702-455-4191 or ClarkCountyNV.gov/FixIt_Clark_County. Master-planned communities (Summerlin, Southern Highlands) have HOA parking rules that may be stricter.
Over 24 hours: citation and tow. RV without permit: immediate citation. Derelict vehicle: citation and tow.
