Henderson, NV Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

Henderson Municipal Code Title 10 allows on-street parking in most residential neighborhoods but prohibits any vehicle from remaining in the same spot for more than 72 consecutive hours, a rule designed to prevent abandoned vehicles and storage of RVs/trailers on public streets. Moving the vehicle several blocks to a new spot resets the clock. Universal parking prohibitions apply within 15 feet of a fire hydrant, 20 feet of a crosswalk or intersection approach, 30 feet of a stop sign or traffic signal, in front of public or private driveways, on sidewalks, and on red-painted curbs. School zones, bus stops, and street-sweeping zones have additional time-limited restrictions posted on signs. Many Henderson master-planned communities have private streets where HOA parking rules apply instead of city rules (Anthem Country Club, MacDonald Highlands, Sun City Anthem). Public streets in Green Valley, Whitney Ranch, and older Henderson are fully under HMC Title 10. Parking during posted street-sweeping hours results in citation and possible tow.
