Full Breakdown

Henderson Municipal Code § 10.06.020 makes it unlawful to stand, park, or store a commercial vehicle, trailer, or mobile billboard 24 feet or longer, or over 10,000 pounds unladen, on any public street or right-of-way in or adjacent to a residential district, near a school or park, or anywhere the city has posted no-parking signs. The sole exception is a vehicle actively loading or unloading goods or passengers in front of the property being served, and that exception has a hard cutoff: the vehicle 'may not stand or park between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.,' loading or not. Enforcement runs through code enforcement, the marshal, or police under HMC 10.06.060.

Owners also face an administrative citation and civil penalty up to $500 per occurrence under HMC 10.06.060, though no penalty applies to a first violation.
