Henderson has no blanket overnight parking ban but enforces a 72-hour rule under HMC Title 10. Most HOAs (Anthem, Inspirada, Sun City) prohibit overnight parking. Commercial vehicles over 10,000 lbs banned overnight.
Unlike some Nevada cities, Henderson does not impose a citywide overnight parking ban on public streets. On-street overnight parking is generally permitted subject to the universal 72-consecutive-hour limit, hydrant/crosswalk clearance rules, and posted restrictions. However, commercial vehicles over 10,000 pounds GVWR, semi-trailers, and heavily advertised commercial vehicles are prohibited overnight in residential zones (see commercial-vehicles). HOA communities are the more restrictive scenario: Sun City Anthem, Anthem Country Club, MacDonald Highlands, Inspirada, Tuscany Village, and Ascaya typically limit street parking to daytime hours or ban it entirely on private streets; visitor permits or guest-parking zones are required overnight. Public parks and city open-space lots close overnight (usually 10 PM to 6 AM) and overnight parking there results in citation and possible tow. Hotel and apartment guest parking requires valid permits in many complexes. Street sweeping routes have posted no-parking windows typically weekly or biweekly in older Henderson neighborhoods.
Commercial vehicle overnight: 100 dollars and up. Park overnight closure: citation and tow. HOA violation: HOA fines separate from city.
