Greeley, CO Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

Greeley Municipal Code § 16-671 lists where stopping, standing or parking a vehicle is prohibited citywide: on sidewalks, in intersections, on crosswalks, on bridges, on railroad tracks, and, critically for most drivers, within five feet of any public or private driveway, within five feet of a fire hydrant, within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection, and within a marked fire lane. Section 16-673 separately requires every parked vehicle to sit with its right-hand wheels within 12 inches of the curb, facing the direction of authorized travel, so parking against the flow of traffic ("wrong-way" parking) is not allowed. Violations are parking infractions under Title 1, Chapter 11.
