Warner Robins, GA Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

Sec. 14-34 sets a flat two-hour cap on all on-street public parking that the city has provided and marked off with painted spaces. The limit is separate from, and shorter than, the general 12-hour street parking rule in Sec. 14-31, which covers unmarked street parking citywide; where the city has actually painted a space, the two-hour rule controls instead. The section was adopted by Ord. No. 75-96 in 1996 and has not been amended since. Chapter 14 also carries the state Uniform Rules of the Road by reference (Sec.

§§ 40-6-372 through 40-6-376), which is where the underlying prohibitions on double parking, blocking a driveway, and parking against the flow of traffic actually come from, since Article II of the local chapter does not restate those state rules itself. A related, now-repealed section (former Sec. 14-35) once barred commercial and heavy vehicles from parking on commercially or industrially zoned lots, but Ord. No. 5-13 struck it in 2013, so that restriction no longer applies. No dollar penalty is written into Sec. 14-34 itself, so enforcement falls to the Code's general penalty section.
