(1)CONDEMNATION. (Am. #3159) Structures shall be condemned, razed and removed under §66.0413, Wis. Stats., which is hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference.(2)STRUCTURES UNFIT FOR HUMAN OCCUPANCY. (Am. #3221) Whenever the building official determines that a structure constitutes a hazard to the safety, health or welfare of the occupants or to the public but the structure cannot be condemned, razed and removed, he shall declare the structure unfit for human habitation, occupancy or use and order it to be vacated. A structure constitutes a hazard to the safety or welfare of the occupants or to the public if:(a)It lacks maintenance.(b)It is in disrepair, insanitary, vermin infested or rodent infested. ... (8)VACATING OF DECLARED BUILDING. Any person who occupies or lets to another for human habitation, occupancy or use any structure which has been placarded by a building official as condemned, unlawful or unfit for human habitation, occupancy or use after the date in the placard shall be subject to a forfeiture of $50 for each week such violation continues.
