That order sets a deadline capped at 10 days, extendable on a showing of due diligence, and explains the right to a written hearing request. Where an owner refused delivery within 24 months, door hangers or posting suffice.
City abates, then bills; unpaid costs after 30 days become a tax lien or special assessment, or a personal judgment. Separate prosecution up to $500 daily.
