Approved residential containers include opaque plastic bags of a color other than blue or red. The city provides twice-weekly garbage collection and weekly recycling. Bins and bags must be placed at the curb or alley on collection days and retrieved promptly after collection. Brush must be cut to lengths not exceeding 6 feet, stacked at curbside to a height of no more than 3 feet with larger ends toward the curb. Maximum 1 cubic yard of brush collected per pickup day. Bulky waste that cannot be collected with regular equipment requires separate scheduling.
