City Code Sec. 17-37 draws the smoking and vaping ban around two categories of city park property. First, no one may smoke, vape, or carry a lighted cigarette, filtered cigar, cigarillo or pipe anywhere on park property with an athletic field or court, and the ordinance specifically calls out the bleachers, spectator areas, dugouts, sidelines and the fields themselves as off-limits; smoking and vaping are confined to areas the city designates.
