Enclosed workplaces and public/common areas of apartments and mobilehome parks are separately banned under the same section. Narrow exceptions cover private residences, licensed tobacco retailers, designated airport smoking rooms, and outdoor areas of city golf courses more than 25 feet from any building opening (§ 9.44.040). Owners and operators must post 'No Smoking' signage (§ 9.44.060).
