(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to use skateboards, in-line skates, or similar devices on public or private property which is posted to prohibit any person from entering or remaining upon that property while utilizing skateboards, in-line skates, or similar devices. (b) The owner of private property is authorized to post or cause to be posted signs which give notice of the prohibition of the use of skateboards, in-line skates, or similar devices referenced in subsection (a).
