Because Chapter 7.60 sets no chapter-specific fine, violations of the vermin control rules are punished under the citywide general penalty, § 1.12.010: a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $2,000, imprisonment up to 90 days in the county jail, up to 90 days of community service, or any combination, with each day a violation continues counted as a separate offense.
