Violations & Fines
Anyone who causes or maintains a rodent-attracting nuisance and fails to abate it after written notice is guilty of an ordinance violation under Section 220.045, punishable under Section 100.010 by a fine of up to $500.00, up to three months in the St. Charles County Jail, or both, with each day the condition continues counted as a separate offense. The City may also abate the condition itself and bill the cost as a special tax against the property.
