Boise requires that short-term rentals provide adequate off-street parking matching the dwelling unit standard under Title 11. Typical minimum is two off-street spaces for a single-family home, regardless of guest headcount. Operators must disclose parking arrangements in the listing and in the guest house rules. Parking on unpaved areas, landscaping, or blocking sidewalks violates Boise parking code. RVs belonging to guests are subject to the same rules as resident RVs (cannot be used as overnight accommodation on the street). Because of Idaho Code §63-1803A, Boise cannot use parking rules as a backdoor ban but can enforce generally applicable parking laws uniformly.
