04(G) restricts billboards to the area within 100 feet of the Interstate 75 right-of-way, banning them everywhere else in the city, and grandfathers any billboard lawfully in place on December 11, 2013 so long as it isn't later altered or moved out of compliance. Within that narrow zone, a billboard still can't be placed within 500 feet of a residential zoning district, church, school, park, public building or cemetery on the same side of I-75, and no billboard can sit within 1,000 feet of another billboard.

Height is capped at 70 feet as measured from the established road grade at the nearest point of the interstate, sign area is capped at 672 square feet per structure, and no billboard may use more than 2 faces or any multi-message, tri-vision or electronic changeable-face technology outside the separately regulated digital billboard exchange program. Billboards are limited to the LI, HI, CRC, RRC, PCD and OHR zoning districts even within the I-75 buffer, and are barred from railroad rights-of-way and easements entirely. The Director of Development Services can administratively reduce a billboard's required setback by up to 50% specifically to preserve trees along the interstate right-of-way, but only if the applicant surveys and commits to protecting the identified trees and secures GDOT approval; cutting a tree that was supposed to be preserved under that reduced setback is itself a violation of the division.
