Deltona, FL Sign Regulations: Garage Sale Signs (2026)

Deltona Code § 22-151 caps garage and yard sale signage at a single on-site sign, no larger than four and one-half square feet, posted on the property where the sale is held to identify and advertise it. Off-site or additional signs aren't authorized under this section. Once the sale wraps up, the homeowner must remove and dispose of the sign within 24 hours -- leaving it up longer is itself a violation, separate from the underlying frequency-and-duration limits (two sales a year, three days each) set out elsewhere in chapter 22's garage sales article.
