Wall-mounted panels project no more than 5 feet and extend 25% into a required side setback, 50% into a rear setback, and none into a front setback.
Installing without a building permit or outside these standards violates the UDO. Section 18.100.110 penalties reach a $500 fine or six months' imprisonment, each day a separate offense.
