Under County Code Section 6.56.116, a sign reading "No Trespassers," "No Canvassers," "No Peddlers," "No Solicitors," or similar wording posted at a residence's entry bars any peddler, solicitor, canvasser or promoter from knocking, ringing the bell, or otherwise trying to get attention there. One sign posted at a gated community or apartment complex entrance covers every unit inside. Section 6.56.117 separately bans door-to-door contact anywhere in unincorporated Clark County outside 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., sign or no sign. Both rules yield if the occupant specifically invited the visitor.
