Violations & Fines
Operating a special event without the required temporary use permit, or exceeding its three-day, twice-renewable term, is enforced by the zoning administrator under §§ 17.02.050 and 17.02.110 and is punishable under the general penalty, § 1.12.010, by a fine of up to $2,650.00, up to one year in jail, or both. Using city streets or rights-of-way without the separate revocable permit required by § 17.13.030(B) is a distinct violation.
