Macon-Bibb County, GA Special Events & Permits: Park Event Permits (2026)

Section 17-7 of the parks and recreation chapter lists prohibited activities inside any Macon-Bibb County park or recreation area, and two of its subsections form the county's mechanism for authorizing gatherings and event structures. The same article separately bars inflatable amusements and water-based amusements from parks 'except during permitted special events and festivals,' confirming the county treats 'permitted special events' as a defined authorization category even though this codification does not spell out a standalone application form or fee schedule for that authorization.
