City Code § 332-20 sets the fee schedule and approval process for using Scranton's parks and recreation facilities. Subsection A(10)(b) requires that all schedules for shared facilities like Weston Field be approved by the Department of Parks and Recreation, which balances activities among all interested parties and evaluates field conditions to decide day-to-day availability; the outdoor field season runs through the last week of September. Team sports pay per-team charges: Pine Brook Field and Rockwell Field each charge $125 per team for residents and $175 for nonresidents, and Weston Field's two fields charge the same $125/$175 rates, with an additional $2-per-hour surcharge for lighted play.

Soccer, football or other sport matches or practices at Weston Field carry a flat $150 seasonal field-use fee plus $2 per hour for lights under § 332-20A(10)(c). Pavilion rentals at Nay Aug Park run $100 for residents and $125 for nonresidents under § 332-20A(2). Groups needing the city's Showmobile stage for an event pay $250 for a single-day rental within city limits or $500 outside city limits, $125 per day for multi-day rentals in the city or $250 outside, plus a $200 delivery charge; those fees are nonrefundable and waived only for city-sponsored events.

Under § 332-20B, the Department of Parks and Recreation can require photo identification to confirm residency, age or family membership before granting the resident rate, and under § 332-20C it reserves the right to balance field reservations fairly among competing applicants.
