Permit Required. A sidewalk dining/decorative display permit shall be required for any tables, chairs, benches, displays, or other appurtenances placed in the public right-of-way for the purpose of establishing a sidewalk dining area or sidewalk decorative display. The zoning administrator shall issue such permit upon a finding that the requirements of this section have been met. Location. Sidewalk dining areas and sidewalk decorative displays within the public right-of-way are permitted only within the downtown revitalization district as delineated in Chapter 18.74 of this code.
