180(B) sets the zoning-side rules for in-ground swimming pools, working alongside SVMC Title 24, the City's adopted building code, which supplies the specific pool-barrier construction standards. The zoning rule fixes location: the pool's vertical wall has to sit entirely behind the required front yard setback line, so a pool cannot be built in the setback the way a permitted accessory structure sometimes can, and it has to be set back at least five feet from every other property line, meaning side and rear lot lines.
