Pool lights must be low-voltage or GFCI-protected. Diving boards require minimum water depths per manufacturer specs. Mecklenburg Public Health has no residential pool water-quality rule but inspects permitted public and semi-public pools under 15A NCAC 18A .2500. Chemical storage must follow NC Fire Code 4.
