Full Breakdown

Municipal Code 8.08.080 sets one collection point per home: for street routes, place carts between the curb line and sidewalk (or within two feet of the curb where no sidewalk exists); for alley routes, within two feet of the traveled alley. Carts may not sit on any public sidewalk or street. Under 8.08.090, containers cannot be placed out before 7 PM the day before collection or after 7 AM the collection day, must be removed by midnight, and cannot stay in a front yard between collection days. Lids must stay closed.
