030(A)(1)(f) sets three concrete timing and placement rules for every family unit's automated collection containers. on the scheduled collection day, meaning residents can't wait until the truck is already on the street to put the cart out. Second, once the truck empties the container, the resident has 24 hours to remove it from the curb; leaving it out longer than that violates the ordinance even though collection itself is finished. Third, the container can never be stored, day to day, at a spot closer to the curb than the front of the residence itself, which keeps carts from becoming a permanent curbside fixture between pickups.
