County Code § 6.65.030(D)(1) makes it a real-property nuisance to store trash, garbage, recycling, or green-waste cans, bins, boxes, or similar containers, including on pickup day, for more than twenty-four hours in any seven-day period in a front or street-side yard, public street, driveway, or county right-of-way, unless the enforcement officer authorizes otherwise. The same subsection separately bars unscreened permanent dumpsters or debris boxes visible from the street and containers without securely fitting covers. Chapter 6.41 also requires occupants to set containers curbside, or at another collection-appropriate spot, per the hauler's own rules.
