Dunedin collects bulk and yard waste weekly with size limits set in Chapter 66, including 4-foot bundle length, 50-pound bag weight, and 4-cubic-yard pile maximums.
Per Dunedin Code Section 66-61(c) under Chapter 66, bulk and yard waste must be prepared so it can be safely loaded by city crews. Brush piles must be tied in neat, manageable bundles no longer than four feet, and bags or personal cans cannot exceed 50 pounds. Logs greater than four inches in diameter, building debris, dimensional lumber, and piles greater than four cubic yards are not collected on the regular route and require a temporary dumpster or claw-truck service. Construction and renovation debris is the property owner's responsibility. Hazardous waste, electronics, tires, and paint must be taken to Pinellas County Solid Waste facilities.
Out-of-spec piles are tagged and left at the curb. Repeated violations or self-haul refusal can lead to non-collection fees and code enforcement action.
