Florence County, SC Trash & Recycling: Collection Schedule (2026)

Article II, Division 2 of Chapter 13 sets the licensing framework for residential solid waste collection in the unincorporated area. Sec. 13-23 requires all trash and garbage pick-up services operating outside the county's municipalities to hold a license before they can run a route, so a private hauler cannot start picking up household garbage or recycling in the unincorporated county without first clearing this process.
