Violations & Fines
No penalty attaches to a holiday delay in Sec. 22-25(h) or the county notices. Container timing is enforced instead: Sec. 22-25(c) sets 7:00 p.m. as the earliest set-out time on days preceding the normal pickup days and the latest removal time on the normal day of pickup. Sec. 22-25(d) makes any other timing unlawful and punishes a failure to remove the container under section 1-6: a fine not exceeding $1,000.00, work on the streets or public works for up to 60 days, or imprisonment for up to 180 days.
