Frisco contracts with Community Waste Disposal (CWD) for residential solid waste collection. Service includes twice-weekly trash pickup, weekly single-stream recycling, and weekly yard waste collection. Carts must be placed curbside by 7:00 AM on collection day and removed within 12 hours after pickup.
Residential service is funded through monthly utility bills. CWD provides a 96-gallon trash cart and 64-gallon recycling cart at no additional charge. Holiday schedules shift collection by one day. Missed pickups can be reported via Frisco 311 or the CWD customer portal. Contact Frisco at (972) 292-5000 for enforcement.
Repeated cart-placement violations may result in a written warning followed by a citation under Frisco Code of Ordinances Chapter 90.
