Chapter 230, the City's 'Tree Ordinance of the City of Florissant, Missouri,' puts control over trees planted in the treelawn, the strip between the property line and the traveled roadway, in the hands of the Director of Public Works. 030(D) makes the Director responsible for a master street tree plan that specifies which species may be planted on each street or public place; once the plan or an amendment takes effect, all new planting has to conform to it, and the Director can revise the plan whenever conditions call for it.
