The core water requirement is numeric: the car wash must use a low-volume water recycling system that provides an average of at least eighty percent recycled water per wash, cutting the share of fresh potable or well water each vehicle wash consumes. That recycling standard sits alongside a traffic impact analysis requirement under Article II, Division 5 of the zoning ordinance, with the Zoning Administrator authorized to require additional road improvements or restrictions to protect traffic safety and roadway capacity.

Site lighting fixtures must match the style and illumination level of the main building's architecture and cannot exceed twenty-five feet in height. The ordinance also addresses what happens when a car wash shuts down: the owner or operator must notify the Zoning Administrator in writing within seven days after the activity ceases, and if the car wash stays inactive for more than nine months, the owner must remove all car wash equipment and the surrounding structure, then restore the property to match the grade and condition of the rest of the parking lot, either as landscaped green area or a repaved and re-striped surface, until the county approves a new site plan for the property.
