37(N)(2) requires a building permit before any accessory building is constructed, and the structure must meet the city's building code requirements. 37(N)(1) to brick, pre-finished metal, wood siding or simulated wood, masonry products, Portland cement plaster, stucco, or exposed aggregate concrete matching the main dwelling, while corrugated sheet metal siding and roofing are expressly prohibited. 37(N)(3): behind the rear building line of the main dwelling, no closer to the street than the main dwelling on a corner lot, and compliant with the zoning district's or final plat's setback requirements.

37(N)(4) tops out at 40 feet or the height of the main dwelling's roof peak, whichever is lower, with sidewalls capped at 20 feet. 37(N)(5)(a), and lots under two acres are limited to one accessory building while larger lots get one per acre; more than two accessory buildings, or a single one exceeding 2,500 square feet, requires a variance. A fully dimensioned site plan showing the structure, property lines, easements, and neighboring structures within 100 feet must accompany the application, and buildings sheltering animals must sit at least 100 feet from a neighboring dwelling.
