Appendix A's construction-fee schedule sets a $50.00 permit fee for accessory buildings, arbors, patio covers and carports of 120 square feet or less, rising to $100.00 for anything larger, and the Zoning Ordinance's Sec. 2.5.C then governs where and how big a shed, garage or greenhouse can be. No residential or commercial lot may carry more than two detached accessory structures. Along a street, an accessory building cannot extend past the platted building line, and where no line exists on the plat it must sit at least ten feet back from the property line; on the other setbacks the rule scales to the main house, with structures behind the main building required to stay at least three feet off the side line and, for anything other than a rear-access garage or carport, at least three feet off the rear line as well.

Height is capped at fifteen feet on lots under an acre and twenty feet on lots of an acre or more, and no accessory structure may sit within an easement or closer than five feet to another structure. Roof slope, siding material and color must also match or complement the main house under the same section, except for small prefabricated buildings and carports. AG/30 agricultural lots get separate rules for barns and stables, including a fifty-foot setback from any property line or dwelling.
