Under Spanish Fork Municipal Code Title 6, no animal may run at large within city limits. Animals must be on a leash (defined as any chain, rope, or device used to restrain an animal) whenever they are off the owner's property. This applies on sidewalks, parks, trails, and all public spaces. Dogs are permitted on the city trail system only if leashed. Spanish Fork Animal Control enforces leash violations and may impound at-large animals. All dogs over 3 months must be licensed with proof of current rabies vaccination.
