06 does not ban feeding ducks or pigeons outright; it bans doing so in a manner that results in a public nuisance. Subsection (B) defines that nuisance non-exhaustively to include the accumulation of droppings and/or feathers, the attraction of vermin, the blockage of streets or public rights-of-way, or damage to real property, so the violation turns on the consequences of the feeding rather than the act of feeding by itself. That structure lets a resident who tosses out occasional bread avoid the ordinance while still reaching someone whose regular feeding station draws large flocks that foul sidewalks, clog drainage, or attract rats.

Enforcement runs through both the city's Office of Code Enforcement and the Hollywood Police Department under subsection (C), giving either agency authority to act on a complaint. The ordinance dates to 1997 and was amended in 2005. 01 and its ban on capturing birds for resale or private use, so a feeding pattern that also involves trapping or harming birds can trigger both sections at once. The section applies specifically to ducks and pigeons; it does not by its terms extend the same nuisance standard to other wildlife such as raccoons or iguanas, which fall under Hollywood's general animal-care and nuisance provisions instead.
