Section 92.02 of the Hollywood Code of Ordinances prohibits the keeping of animals and fowl within the city with specified exceptions. Fowl including chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, guineas, and peafowl may be kept under specific conditions. Section 92.08 establishes animal care and manner of keeping standards. Outdoor tethering of animals is prohibited between 10 AM and 5 PM. All animals must be properly contained on the owner's property.
Keeping prohibited animals is a code violation. Animal tethering violations and failure to properly contain animals result in citations. Repeat violations may lead to animal impoundment.
