R109.1 Types of inspections. All construction or work for which a permit is required shall be subject to inspection by the Building Official and all such construction work shall remain accessible and exposed for inspection purposes until approved by the Building Official. Approval as a result of an inspection shall not be construed to be an approval of a violation of the provisions of this code or of other ordinances of the City. A survey of the lot or lots upon which permitted work for additions, alterations, or repairs are being accomplished shall be provided by a duly licensed surveyor of the State of Nebraska before plans and specifications shall be accepted by the Building Official to verify compliance of the construction or work with building line setback requirements of the Lincoln Municipal Code. All boundary corners of a lot or lots with permanent survey monuments shall be marked in the field by a duly licensed surveyor of the State of Nebraska.
