Section BH4-3 amends several of the adopted code's own provisions for local conditions: it adds wrought-iron pipe standards, requires that fixture traps and closet bends to be concealed be made of metal, mandates a separate water service line no lighter than type K or L copper for every building for human occupancy, requires horizontal rigid PVC or ABS pipe be supported at intervals no greater than four feet, and bars plastic pipe for water service connections into any building in the township.

1 requires a master plumber, unless already state-licensed, to sit for a township examination for a $10 fee and pay a $100 license fee if approved, renewed every January 1 for $25. 2 requires a permit before installing any plumbing: $10 covers one to six fixtures, with $1 charged for each fixture beyond six, plus a $5 reinspection fee whenever a licensee's noncompliance forces a second inspection. 3 adds a $5 fee before the Plumbing Inspector will issue a permit to connect a house sewer to the street sewer or a septic tank.
