Nassau County, FL Building Safety: Plumbing Permits (2026)

Section 7-6 has the Board of County Commissioners adopt the entire 8th Edition (2023) Florida Building Code, with only its Chapter 1 Scope and Administration amended locally, and that amended chapter is printed into the county code in full. 3 is one of the referenced-codes provisions in that chapter: it folds the Florida Building Code, Plumbing volume into county requirements for installing, altering, repairing or replacing plumbing systems, including equipment, fixtures, fittings and appurtenances connected to a water or sewage system, and it extends to every aspect of a medical gas system.
