Table 2.02.03-1's 'Maximum Height (ft) - Primary Building' row, read in the table's own zone order (DE-1, DET-3, SN-4, SN-8, MH), sets: DE-1 at 25 feet or two stories, whichever is less; DET-3 at 25 feet/two stories; SN-4 and SN-8 both at 30 feet; and MH at 25 feet or two stories, whichever is less. A separate row allows extra height for specific architectural features, up to 35 feet in DE-1/DET-3 and 40 feet in SN-4/SN-8, for items like chimneys, elevators, and solar equipment. Height itself is measured under § 3.01.03 as the vertical distance from finished (or average) grade to the highest point, and a project must satisfy both the linear-foot cap and the story-count cap.
