Secondhand Merchandise Dealers; Restrictions: No person licensed under this chapter as a secondhand merchandise dealer shall purchase, barter, exchange or sell any secondhand merchandise other than that of the same type and character which comprise his or her principal business. Ordinance Posted: It is unlawful for any person to conduct or transact any business licensed under this chapter unless he or she shall keep conspicuously posted in his or her place of business a copy of this chapter. Hours: It is unlawful for any licensee under this chapter to receive or purchase any goods in trade, pawn or pledge or to sell or otherwise dispose of any goods or materials or to keep his or her place of business open before seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. or after seven o'clock (7:00) P.M. of any day including Sunday.
