Chapter 10, Health Regulations, treats a tattoo parlor or body-piercing shop as a licensed establishment. Section 10-2.1 requires the operator to file a completed application on Township forms with the Municipal Clerk and pay the license fee before any license issues; § 10-2.4h sets that fee at $900 for a tattoo parlor and/or body piercing business. Section 10-2.2 requires the license to be prominently displayed on the premises, and § 10-2.3 sets every license under this chapter to expire on December 31 of the year issued, regardless of when it was granted, so a shop opening mid-year still renews at year end.

Section 10-2.5 lets the Township revoke a license if the licensee or an agent violates the terms under which it was issued, and the Health Officer has authority to suspend operation immediately, pending a hearing, rather than wait for a court date. The Health Officer and any person acting under that authority also have a right of entry onto the premises under § 10-1.1 to inspect for the purposes specified in this chapter; obstructing, preventing, or resisting that inspection is itself a violation of the chapter.

If an owner refuses entry, § 10-1.2 lets the Health Officer apply to the Municipal Judge for a search warrant supported by an affidavit showing either a routine inspection program or a reasonable basis to believe an unsanitary or unhealthy condition exists on the premises. No separate Township ordinance section in Chapter 10 sets tattoo-specific sanitation standards beyond the general licensing chain; the fee schedule entry is the operative local text singling out the trade.
