The city has adopted a Cannabis Business Tax (HBMC Chapter 3.15) that would apply if the ban were ever lifted, but currently no commercial cannabis operations are permitted.
Operating any cannabis business is subject to criminal prosecution, civil penalties, and nuisance abatement. Each day of operation constitutes a separate offense.
