Block Party Permits

Dallas requires a Block Party Permit for residential street closures, issued free of charge through the Department of Public Works. A completed Block Party Petition must be submitted at least 10 business days prior to the event. The petition requires 100% of residents within the block closure to sign, the event is limited to 200 people, and a 15-foot emergency lane must be maintained.
