Density Bonus Law
In the City of Pismo Beach, California, the 1998 Zoning Code gives a residential project of five or more rental units a density bonus of twenty-five percent when twenty percent of the units go to lower income households, ten percent to very low income households, or fifty percent to senior citizens. The request is processed with a conditional use permit and decided by the Planning Commission.
