In the City of Pismo Beach, California, it is unlawful to be upon or within the pier zone between eleven p.m. and four a.m. The zone covers the city pier, the boardwalk and city-owned sidewalks, lawns, streets and parking lots near Pomeroy and Hinds Avenues. A free police department fishing permit is the printed exception.
